Stitchfest 2014
As the ecrafting.org team, we organized a wearable design track at Penn Apps, a 48 hr. hackathon that attracts more than 1200 students around the world. In Stitchfest 2014, teams made of fine arts, design, and engineering students work on a design challenge called "Wear & Care" and compete for prizes sponsored by IBM and Samsung.

Cultures of Making & Learning
Cultures of Making & Learning is a design studio for Spring 2014. I will be teaching it with Yasmin Kafai from Penn Graduate School of Education. The studio will be held in conjunction with BIOL 376: Microbial Diversity and Pathogenesis Lab. Fine arts, design, biology, and learning sciences students will be able to collaborate and explore emerging issues in today's maker culture together. Link
